World of Mathosia
The magical world of Mathosia is the beginning of your adventures in Telara. This is where all members begin and will learn about the game. You will learn about PvE, PvP, Dungeons, Puzzles, Achievements, and Loot Cairns. Be sure to check this page regularly for updated information and new discoveries.
Porticulums
Porticulums are Rift's way of allowing players to move easily around Telara. Upon opening a Porticulum you can use it to go anywhere in the game. The trick to these wonderous things is you must first talk to the Portal Master in order to unlock the porticulum. To do this just right click on the Portal Master. In order to use the portal you must unlock it. If a porticulum is not unlocked you can not go to or go from that place. Be sure to find and unlock them all for easy porting.
Loot Cairns
Loot Carins are an easy way to earn gear and other items for the level of each zone. Finding these cairns may sometimes be difficult but they are worth the workout to reach them. They are usually hidden in a zone. Some of the zones will have more then one, but most zones only have one cairn. Be sure to find and collect them all. There is an achievement for finding certain ones. Have fun and always be on the lookout for these treasure troves of goodness.
Puzzles
Puzzles are a great way to take a break from fighting monsters and completing quests. Puzzles are also great ways to earn currencies, gear, and dimension items. The Puzzles are part of some achievements. They are all over the place. Almost every zone in the game has one. Just seek out the puzzle for each zone, complete it and reap the rewards. Sound easy? Some are very difficult to complete. Just be patient and the rewards will be greatly earned.
Achievements

Acheivements are a great way to put a little competiton between members. There are achievements for many things in the world of Rift. Some are for exploring an entire zone, some for doing puzzles, and some for just completing quests. There is no limit as to how many you can complete at one time. They are a great way to explore the many hidden secrets in the game. They are fun and they make exploring worth the hard work. Be sure to hit your "H" key and see all the many achievements for the zone you are in.
