Butchering 1 - 75
Along the southern shore of Silverwood there are plenty of Thrashjaws (Crocs), Razorbacks (Pigs), and Silvermane (Wolves) to Butcher for leather. Start at the very southwest tip of Silverwood and move east and then north up the coast to get to 75.
Along the eastern side of Freemarch there are plenty of Thrashjaws (Crocs), Razorbacks (Pigs), and Silvermane (Wolves) to Butcher for leather.
Butchering 75 - 115
In the center of Gloamwood there are Darkpaw Prowlers and Gloam Bats, as you get closer to 95 move towards the river then north to level up to 115.
In the beginning and close to the center of Stonefield there are a good amount of goats to Butcher
Butchering 115 - 150
Scarwood Reach or Scarlet Gorge is both a great place to level 110+ in Butchering. Personally, we had better luck Butchering Wolves, Cats and Boars, Basilisk, Drakes and more in the northwestern half of Scarwood Reach.
Butchering 150 - 175
In Moonshade Highlands stay along the water in the middle to Butcher the beasts around the rivers. If you start on the west most river you can follow it easily east to the shore and finish up with some Cloven Stonerams. You can actually get to ~190 here but it is quicker to leave for Iron Pine Peak or Droughtlands.
Butchering 175 - 225
Iron Pine Peak and Droughtlands is packed with beasts enabling you to level Butchering to 225+.
Butchering 225 - 270
Stillmoor will get you up to 270 easily. When you get closer to 270. At level 250 you can head to the Ember Isle as well.
Butchering 270 - 300
Daevako provided an amazing spot on Ember Isle in the Abundant Wilds. For butchering 270-300 the beach on ember isle is awesome. In the Abundant wilds area, lots of gators and warthogs to kill...upon further discovery of the island if you continue up that river after killing the hogs and gators, there’s a lot more to kill going into Atia."
Butchering 300 - 335
Kingdom of Pelladane can be started at level 280 in Butchering where you can skin Scavenging Thunderbirds in the center of the area.
Butchering 335 - 350
Morban beasts to pwn include Prowlers, Carrion Beasts, Twisted Arachnids, and Woven Beasts...the Forest of Flesh really is a Forest of Flesh.
In Kingsward Butcher the Vespid Pollinators, Hatchery Guardians, Wild/Savage Goretusks, and Freshwater Clampjaws.
Butchering 350 - 375
To finish up any of the following areas are fine... Ashora forall the beasts possible and Steppes of Inifinity for Vengeful Drakes.
Searching for Bones and Hides:
While exploring I have found that these animals always give these items when butchered:
Mutated Razorbeasts (City Core)- Unerupted Tooth, Small Bones, Collagen Struts, Truehide, Dense Hide, and Striped Hide
Windrider (City Core)- Dense Hide, Small Bones, Unerupted Tooth, Striped Hide, and Collagen Struts
Swift Paw Prowler (Ardent Domain)- Striped Hide, and Truehide
